Penn Valley Doctor Charged With Indecent Assault on Female Weight-Loss Patients
Several women say Arie Oren, 64, assaulted them.

Montgomery County authorities on Monday charged 64-year-old weight-loss doctor Arie Oren, a Penn Valley resident, with aggravated indecent assault and indecent assault after several female patients complained he touched their genitals at his Conshohocken clinic.
The Main Line Times reported Oren posted $100,000 bail and will remain free until his April 21 preliminary hearing, and said the incidents happened with six women, ages 24 through 59, from 2008 through 2010.
District Attorney Risa Vetri Ferman announced on her office's Web site that the complaints against Oren stemmed from complaints in September through December. According to Ferman's statement, "Oren used his hands or a foreign object to touch and penetrate the genitals of his patients."
