Police Blotter: Public Intoxication, Theft Reported in Bala Cynwyd

In a weekly briefing with news media Monday afternoon, Lower Merion police reported the following crimes and incidents in the Bala Cynwyd area:

-A resident of the Sutton Terrace condominiums on the unit block of Belmont Avenue in Bala Cynwyd called police about 2 a.m. Friday after seeing Matthew Brady, 31, of Philadelphia sleeping in his car, police said. Brady told police he was waiting for somebody. He was charged with public intoxication.

-Someone stole a BlackBerry phone from a vehicle parked at the 1 Bala Ave. office building about 2 p.m. Sunday, police said.
