Police Blotter: Trio of Burglars Breach Bala Cynwyd Wawa Before Dawn

Lower Merion Police Department's weekly media briefing Tuesday afternoon included the following incidents from the Narberth-Bala Cynwyd Patch coverage area:
Burglary: Three men in dark clothing broke into the on Conshohocken State Road about 4:05 a.m. Sept. 2, less than an hour before the store was due to open, police said. They forced their way in the front door and took cigarettes and cash.
DUI: After several drivers alerted police to a reckless driver southbound of City Avenue about 12:45 a.m. Aug. 31, police said, Dennis Morgan, 34, of Philadelphia was stopped and arrested for driving under the influence. A breath test showed a blood alcohol content of 0.18, police said.

Theft: Someone stole LED lights from a new township leaf collection vehicle this summer at the public works complex in Penn Valley. The theft was reported Aug. 30.
