Slain Narberth Man's Mother Forgives Accused Killer: Report
Derrick Rollins, 24, of Philadelphia, is accused of killing 29-year-old John Le in a random attack this July.
NARBERTH, PA – The mother of John Le, who was slain senselessly in Haverford township this July, said she forgives her son's killer.
While Derrick Rollins, 24, of Philadelphia, appeared for his preliminary arraignment in a Delaware County court Wednesday, Le's mother spoke out, saying she forgives her son's accused killer.
“I pray for him,” Huong Le told NBC10, referring to Rollins. “And I forgive him. I’m not angry at anybody. I just miss my son. That’s all.”

Rollins faces charges of criminal homicide; first, second, and third degree murder; aggravated assault; prohibited possession of a firearm; robbery; and more in connection with Le's July 29 death in Haverford.

Rollins was taken into custody Aug. 22 in Decatur, Georgia then extradited back to the Philadelphia area to face the charges.
Rollins was held after a judge did not grant bail, court records show.
He is slated to appear for a preliminary hearing on Sept. 14.
