We take breaths a day. The breath sustains us, nourishes us and when understood, has the ability to take us deep into the mystery of Self. It is one of the most important parts of the yoga practice, yet it is easily overlooked.
In this workshop we will explore the breath through discussion, practice and pranayama techniques. We will discuss how the breath effects the body and the nervous system, engage in a deep practice to open the lunges and connect with the diaphrams, then we will spend ample time exploring Ujaii breath, Kapalabati breath and alternate nostil breath. You will leave with a better understanding of how to use the breath to engage more deeply into your practice and into life.
