Times Herald: Penn Valley Doctor Pleads Innocent in Indecent-Assault Case

Penn Valley resident Arie Oren, who was charged in April with indecent assault on patients at his Conshohocken weight-loss clinic, has pleaded not guilty, the (Norristown) Times Herald reported Tuesday.
The newspaper said Oren "recently" waived his arraignment in the Court of Common Pleas and pleaded not guilty to the that stem from complaints by six female patients who claimed they were inappropriately touched.
A court employee reached by Patch Tuesday could not confirm the date of any plea. Oren, 65, is scheduled for a pre-trial conference Aug. 8 in front of Judge Joseph A. Smyth, according to court records.

Oren is free on $50,000 bail. His attorney could not be reached for comment.
