Two Victims Recovering From Penn Valley Car Crash
Lower Merion police said the speed of one car was a factor.

A Drexel Hill husband and wife are in good condition at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania after being injured in a car accident Thursday afternoon in Penn Valley.
Hospital officials provided conditions at midday Friday for David Antonicello, 40, and Kathy Antonicello, 36. Lower Merion Township police said they were traveling on the 900 block of Bryn Mawr Avenue, between Old Gulph Road and Woodbine Avenue, about 2:45 p.m. Thursday when a vehicle crossed the center line and collided with theirs.
One of the Antonicellos was trapped in the car, but with the aid of the Narberth Volunteer Fire Company and rescue crews from and Penn Wynne both victims were out of the car in "three to four minutes," said James McCoy, a deputy fire marshal.

The driver of the vehicle that crossed out of its lane was a juvenile, police Capt. Bill Boegly said, declining to provide an identification. Boegly said "excessive speed is a factor" in the crash, but no citations or charges had been filed as of Friday afternoon.
