At the last Baldwin-Whitehall School Board meeting, I listened intently as a fellow parent and former police officer spoke about the lack of security at our schools. He questioned why we have police officers present at board meetings but not at our elementary schools. He was not questioning the need for security at board meetings, but challenging the members as to the lack of security officers in our elementary schools.
