Both Woodhaven Road Ramps Opened After I-95 Tanker Crash
A driver and passenger were critically injured after the tanker truck overturned Thursday morning at the exit.

BENSALEM, PA — Woodhaven Road ramps onto and off of Interstate 95 northbound have re-opened after a fiery tanker-truck crash in Bensalem.
The on ramp was re-opened early Friday morning, according to PennDOT, and the exit ramp from I-95 was opened up Friday afternoon, in advance of the evening rush hour.
Both ramps had been closed after the tanker truck overturned and caught fire at about 10:30 a.m. on Thursday. Two people, a driver and passenger, were pulled from the flames by emergency crews and taken to local hospitals, where they were listed in critical condition.

A photo taken by PennDOT traffic cameras showed the truck engulfed in flames and traffic on the interstate backed up in the area. The crash appears to have happened on the exit ramp, based on the image.
Philadelphia Fire Department and Bensalem Fire Department crews worked to extinguish the fire. Photos shared by the Philly fire department showed the tanker truck turned over on its side.

PennDOT said crews worked around the clock to clear wreckage and repair damage on the ramps.
