'Unimaginable Loss': GoFundMe Launched For Woman Killed In Bristol

A GoFundMe page has been launched for Dawn Myers, who police say was strangled to death in her Bristol Borough home last week.

LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA — The community is mourning the woman who authorities said was strangled to death in her home last week, allegedly by her husband.

Regina Mullery has launched a fundraiser for the children of Dawn Myers, who was found dead in her Bristol Borough home. Her husband, Michael P. Myers, has been charged in her death.

The GoFundMe page has raised over $7,000 of its $11,000 goal.

Regina and close friends are raising this fundraiser for the children of their friend.

"This unimaginable loss has left her children facing heartbreak no family should have to endure, while also carrying the financial burden of planning their mother’s funeral," Mullery said. "No child should have to worry about the cost of saying goodbye while trying to cope with the loss of their mom."

Michael P. Myers, 59, of Bristol Borough, was charged with criminal homicide, aggravated assault, strangulation, false imprisonment, intimidation of a victim/witness, and possession of an instrument of crime with intent.

The strangulation death on Thursday morning came one day after he was released from a hospitalwhile on suicide watch, authorities said.

"Dawn was there for so many people in so many different ways, and now it is our turn to come together for the family she loved most," Mullery said.

She said the funds raised will help her children with funeral expenses and provide some relief during this heartbreaking time.
