Bristol, PA: NovaCare Rehabilitation, one of the nation’s largest providers of outpatient physical and hand therapy, announced that local occupational therapist Jessica Czerwinski, MS, OTR/L, CHT, is now providing hand therapy at NovaCare’s Bristol center located at 100 Green Lane.
Czerwinski has more than seven years of clinical experience and passed the Hand Therapy Certification Examination in June 2012—after accumulating more than 4,000 hours of direct practice in hand therapy. She has been working with patients at NovaCare’s Yardley center for the past three years and is excited to expand the program.
“I am fortunate to have the opportunity to use my unique skills and training to help people in the Bristol community,” said Czerwinski. According to the Hand Therapy Certification Commission, there are only 5,382 Certified Hand Therapists (CHTs) in the United States. When a person suffers a hand or arm injury, it can truly be debilitating to the activities of their everyday life. “I am passionate about what I do each day and it is amazing to see patients progress towards their individual goals.”
