Arson Declared In Bensalem Commercial Building Blaze: Fire Officials
Bensalem Fire Rescue and the ATF determined the Bridgewater Road fire Saturday was lit intentionally. A firefighter suffered injuries.
BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —Arson has been determined as the cause of a commercial building fire on Saturday morning.
Fire Investigators from Bensalem Township and the ATF have determined the fire at 1388 Bridgewater Road (Ebooks) on Dec. 10 was lit intentionally.
The firefighter injured at the fire has been released from the hospital and is recovering at home.

Fire investigators with Bensalem Township Fire Rescue and the ATF were on the scene investigating the cause for the past four days.
Fire officials did not release a statement about their investigation; just the arson determination.

The fire started at 9:17 a.m. Saturday with the Newport Fire Company responding to a water flow alarm.
Upon arrival, firefighters found an active fire and multiple fire companies responded to the two-alarm fire.
Nottingham Firefighter Nick Altomore fell about 25 feet from a ground ladder while battling the blaze.
He had been listed in stable condition at Jefferson Torresdale Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries before being released Monday.
