A ribbon cutting for a playground at Belmont Hills Elementary School will take place on Friday, May 17.

A ribbon cutting for Belmont Hills Elementary School's new playground will take place on Friday, May 17.
All students and staff will attend the ribbon cutting, which will be held at the school at 10 a.m., according to information from Bensalem Township School District. Music Teacher Mrs. Kathy Foote will lead the students in a song titled "Onward and Upward" at the ceremony.
The playground was made possible by generous donations and fundraiser events, according to the district. The Belmont Hills Elementary School Parent Teacher Group held many fundraiser events and State Representative Gene DiGirolamo, Mr. Del Smith, Pastor of Christian Life Center and Century 21 Advantage Gold all made donations.
