Children's Scholarship Fund Philadelphia (CSFP)

Children’s Scholarship Fund Philadelphia (CSFP) changes lives by providing scholarship funding for Philadelphia families to choose a tuition-based school that meets their student’s educational needs. CSFP is the largest and most diverse provider of K-8th scholarship support in Pennsylvania, focusing on the highest-need students in the lowest-achieving schools in the city. During the 2025-26 school year, CSFP awarded more than 6,800 scholarships for K-8th grade students enrolled at nearly 150 area tuition-based schools. A ribbon cutting for Belmont Hills Elementary School's new playground will take place on Friday, May 17. All students and staff will attend the ribbon cutting, which will be held at the school at 10 a.m., according to information from Bensalem Township School District. Music Teacher Mrs. Kathy Foote will lead the students in a song titled "Onward and Upward" at the ceremony. The playground was made possible by generous donations and fundraiser events, according to the district. The Belmont Hills Elementary School Parent Teacher Group held many fundraiser events and State Representative Gene DiGirolamo, Mr. Del Smith, Pastor of Christian Life Center and Century 21 Advantage Gold all made donations.
