Bensalem Schools To Close Wednesday
Due to hazardous winter-weather conditions in the forecast, Pennsbury schools will close Wednesday, Feb. 20.
BENSALEM, PA — Bensalem Township School District schools and offices will be closed Wednesday due to ice and snow in the forecast. The district announced the closures Tuesday evening.
All evening activities also are canceled Wednesday, the district announced.
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for the Philadelphia region from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday. According to the NWS, heavy mixed precipitation is possible, with total snow accumulations between 3 to 5 inches. A light glaze of ice is also possible.
