Kindergarten Registration Held April 25, 26
Kindergarten and first grade registration for the Bensalem Township School Disitrict will be held on Thursday, April 25 and Friday, April 26.
Kindergarten and first grade registration will be held on Thursday, April 25 and Friday, April 26, according to information from the Bensalem Township School District.
On Thursday, April 25, registration will be available for Belmont Hills, Cornwells and Samuel K. Faust students. Registration will be available for Benjamin Rush, Russell C. Struble and Valley students on Friday, April 26. Registration will be held at the Dorothy D. Call Adminstrative Center, located at 3000 Donallen Drive.

- 8:30 - 11 a.m.: Parents last name A-L
- 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.: Parents last name M-Z
Registration packets can be picked up at the elementary school and must be completed prior to the registration date, according to information provided by Susan Phy, Bensalem School District's School and Community Relations liaison. Packets can also be downloaded online at www.bensalemsd.org.
In order for a child to be eligible for kindergarten, he or she must be five years old on or before August 31, 2013.

Students who are already enrolled in kindergarten in the school district do not need to be enrolled for first grade. If a student is new to Bensalem but completed kindergarten in another district, he or she will be admitted to first grade if they meet the age requirements, information from the district explains.
However, children who have completed kindergarten at a private institution will not be able to be enrolled in first grade until they meet the chronological age requirement. And students who have never completed kindergarten, but wish to start in first grade, must be six years old on or before Aug. 31, 2013.
