Man Run Over Twice By Dirt Bike Rider In Bensalem: Police
Bensalem Police seek two dirt bike riders who left a man seriously injured Saturday night on Neshaminy Valley Drive.

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —Bensalem Police are seeking two dirt bike riders involved in an incident Saturday night in which a man suffered serious injuries after being intentionally run over twice.
Bensalem Police are investigating the aggravated assault of the 64-year-old man at 7:50 p.m. Saturday on the 1600 block of Neshaminy Valley Drive after the pedestrian had been struck by an illegal dirt bike.
During the investigation, it was determined that the man was intentionally struck by a dirt bike and knocked to the ground. The dirt bike rider then rode over the victim a second time, causing substantial injuries to his extremities and internal organs.

As a result of the injuries, the victim was transported to a local hospital by Bensalem medics for possible life-threatening injuries.
The dirt bike rider who hit the victim was a man wearing a white helmet, camouflage shirt, and pants, and operating a green-and-white dirt bike.

Police said he was with a man wearing a black shirt, blue jeans, and operating a red dirt bike.
In late June, Bensalem Police announced that they were cracking down on illegal motorcycles and ATVs that they say are riding illegally on private property throughout the township.
"We have taken a ZERO tolerance stance on this type of activity," police said at the time. "If you are found to be riding in violation of Pennsylvania laws, we will seize your motorcycle or ATV and you will be cited for any and all violations no matter your age."
