Owls Win Final Regular Season Game

Beat Council Rock South 46-32.

Council Rock South (7-14, 4-10) took the court for their last game of the season with a 46-32 loss to the Owls who clinched a 3rd place spot in the SOL National Conference that will send them to the District One Playoffs.

 The Council Rock Golden Hawks started off slow to end their season on a low note against the Owls only averaging nine points a quarter and trailing for the entirety of the game. Council Rock was led by seniors Justin Thomas who scored seven points and Jim Ivers who scored six points.

The Bensalem Owls, who will advance to the playoffs, kept the Golden Hawks to a modest 32 points Friday night with a convincing win.

The Owls were led by senior center Calvin Brown, who had a game-high 11 points, while seniors Chris McMullin and Alex Agydedu both put up eight points for the Owls.

The Owls will learn their playoff challengers Sunday.
