Raising Cane's posted that it is seeking cooks, cashiers, customer service associates and restaurant crew members. Interested applicants can apply here.

The location is expected to open on Jan. 10, said Bob Norkus, executive director of the Bensalem Economic Development Corp.

Norkus said he recently took a tour of the operation and met restaurant leader Tom Gisondi.

"Tom told me that a good culture is at the heart of the recruitment of staff and we at the Bensalem Economic Development Corp. completely understand that culture is the secret to successful recruitment, selection, hiring, and retention," Norkus said. "So if you are in the market for a great place to work, stop by the restaurant on Horizon Blvd. and ask for Tom."

Raising Cane's other Bucks County location is at 640 Commerce Blvd. in Fairless Hills. That location opened in late September.

Like most Raising Cane's, the 3,331-square-foot restaurant will include indoor seating and two drive-thru lanes with parking.

The Bensalem Township Council had approved a land development deal for the Horizon Boulevard site where Bertucci’s was once located.

The chain has two locations in Philadelphia and one at State College.

The Louisiana-based chicken chain operates more than 500 sites throughout the country.
