Robotics Celebration, STEM Open House Set At BHS

BENSALEM, PA — A celebration and open house in honor of Bensalem High School's highly competitive robotics squad has been scheduled for Thursday.

Among other competition honors, the Fightin' Robotic Owls were semi-finalists at the 2019 FIRST Robotics World Championship in Detroit after winning their division. Their coach compared the accomplishment to making the Final Four in the NCCA basketball tournament.

The celebration and open house is set for 7-8:30 p.m. at the Bensalem High School STEM Lab, at 4319 Hulmeville Rd. Attendees are encouraged to use the school's south entrance.

There will be an unveiling of a new banner celebrating the team's accomplishments and a community open house, showcasing the STEM lab and K-12 robotics programs in Bensalem schools.
