Single-Lane Pattern Change On Rockhill Drive In Bensalem

PennDOT said the Route 1 Improvement Project roadwork will last through Thursday in Bensalem Township. Motorists should expect delays.

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —Roadwork is scheduled this week on Rockhill Drive under a project to reconstruct, widen, and improve U.S. 1 in Bucks County.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said the construction, which begins Monday, will cause changes for motorists.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas. All scheduled activities are weather-dependent and subject to change.

PennDOT is reconstructing and widening U.S. 1, improving the interchanges, and constructing new bridges from the Turnpike Interchange in Bensalem Township to north of the Penndel/Business U.S. 1 in Middletown Township under the $113.5 million Section RC2 contract.
