• Revolutionary War patriots buried in Pittsburgh's Allegheny Cemetery to be recognized (triblive.com) — Bethel Park gets a brief but meaningful nod as local historians plan to recognize Revolutionary War patriots buried across the region, including graves at Bethel Cemetery in the community. A new historical marker will be unveiled at Pittsburgh's Allegheny Cemetery on Sept. 27, with organizers also eyeing Mt. Lebanon and Bethel Park sites for future recognition and self-guided tours.
