Am I covered for hail damage by my homeowners insurance? Do I need a Public Adjuster?

Hail can destroy a roof. ACI Adjustment Group Public Adjusters has the answers.

  1. Put a Tarp on It! – Prevent further damage to your roof, siding, windows and interior of your home by putting tarps over any openings that were created by wind or hail.
  2. Call Your Public Adjuster Immediately – When it comes to assessing damage, taking pictures, and contacting the insurance company, sooner is better.
  3. Document Everything – How long was the hail storm? How big were the hailstones? What items were damaged inside and outside of your home?
  4. Save all Receipts – Some insurance companies withhold a portion of the settlement until all work is completed. Save all receipts for any repairs or work done.
  5. Let the Public Adjuster do the Talking! – Your insurance company’s adjuster will try to minimize the claim based on what you say.
