Emmanuel EC Church partners with community organizations to provide free bicycle safety event for kids in kindergarten through 8th grade.

Instructors to teach bicycle safety and basic maintenance. Free helmets will be provided to the first 75 kids.

Emmanuel EC Church, the Bethlehem Health Bureau and the Coalition for Appropriate Transportation (CAT) are partnering together to host a FREE Kid’s Bike Rodeo with on Saturday June 27th from 10 am – 12 pm. Bicyclists from kindergarten through 8th grade are invite to come and learn important skills that may one day save their life (all children must attend with a parent or guardian). Instructors will teach bicycle safety and basic maintenance. Helmets will be provided for free to the first 75 kids. In addition, bicycle mechanics will provide minor tune-ups and repairs at no charge. Light refreshments will be provided. The event will be held on Emmanuel EC Church parking lot located on the 700 block of Center Street, Bethlehem. Bicyclists should bring their bike and helmet.
