More Chicken Wings Coming to Bethlehem

Texas-based Wingstop chain plans to open a restaurant in Bethlehem.

The Texas-based chicken wing chain called Wingstop is planning to open a restaurant in Bethlehem.

The chain has 500 stores in 34 states plus Mexico but only one restaurant in Pennsylvania so far (in Philadelphia).

Wingstop has signed an agreement to open two Lehigh Valley stores and is scouting locations now in both Allentown and the Christmas City, according to a press release.

The Wingstop menu features traditional and boneless wings, chicken strips and Glider sandwiches – all sauced and tossed in 10 original flavors.

Hall of Fame quarterback Troy Aikman has served as the chain’s national spokesman since 2003 and recently joined the Wingstop board of directors.
