• Cross Country Releases 2026 Schedule (aueagles.com) — American University's cross country teams will visit Bethlehem twice this fall, racing at Lehigh's Paul Short Run on October 2 and returning for the NCAA Regional Championships on November 13. Local runners and fans can look forward to top collegiate competition on the familiar Lehigh course as the Eagles chase Patriot League success and NCAA berths.
   

• Man charged with attempted homicide in shooting at Freemansburg business (mcall.com) — A Freemansburg business shooting that left a man wounded is now tied to a 61-year-old Montgomery County suspect, who faces attempted homicide and related charges. Bethlehem City and Township police are assisting Freemansburg officers and other agencies in the investigation, while the suspect remains jailed in Northampton County on $1 million bail.
