Enjoy the Sweet Life on the South Side

Skip dinner and go right to dessert this Friday, October 21^st from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the Just Desserts Festival, sponsored by the Downtown Bethlehem Association.

In the past three years, several hundred visitors have followed their cravings for chocolate, flaky dough and mouth watering desserts on a pilgrimage, pausing at several SouthSide shops along Third Street for a sampling of decadent treats.  

This year, participants can satisfy their sweet tooth tasting over 20 desserts while shopping at Third Street participants, including MVMNT, Lehigh Valley Barber School, , , , , Tallaricos Chocolates, , , Gallery U and

Terra Café on New Street as well as Unity House, , Loose Threads Boutique, Sotto Santi Pizzeria, and General Zappatas on Fourth Street will  will also be participating in the dessert  extravaganza..

“Music is going to be performed by Karen & Amy Jones,” said Samantha Schwartz, Downtown Bethlehem Manager, “then each business will get their own bands to play inside their stores, kind of like First Friday.” 

First Friday has never been this sweet.  Advance tickets for Just Desserts may be purchased online for $10 (+ online fee) and receive over 20 samples all evening! Who can say no to dessert?
