One defendant has now pleaded guilty and received a sentence including time served, probation, restitution, and a stay-away order from the Broomall store.

• 1 Of Delco's Only Dedicated Axe-Throwing Businesses Has Permanently Closed In Broomall (patch.com) — Residents in Broomall are losing Delco Axe House, which has permanently closed its Reed Road venue after two years, citing personal circumstances and economic challenges. The owners are directing local axe-throwing fans and league members to The Hatchet House in Claymont, Delaware, which plans to open Nov. 1 and continue the community they built.

• Cause of death in Marple multi-vehicle accident determined (delcotimes.com) — A 72-year-old Broomall man who crashed on Sproul Road near Cardinal O'Hara High School last week died from multiple blunt force injuries caused by the collision, according to the Montgomery County Coroner. Officials say his vehicle crossed into oncoming traffic, striking several vehicles, and while a prior medical issue is still being evaluated, trauma from the crash is listed as the cause of death.
