Alleged Army Ranger Impostor May Face Charges
A video of a man who is accused of posing as an Army Ranger at the Oxford Valley Mall has gone viral.

A man accused of posing as an Army ranger at the Oxford Valley Mall to get discounts while shopping may face federal charges.
The incident happened on Black Friday, when a shopper and Afghanistan veteran stopped the alleged impostor because his uniform didn’t look right, The Philadelphia Inquirer reported.

Ryan Berk, who served in Afghanistan with the 101st Airborne Division,filmed a three-minute YouTube video as he questioned the man, whose name has not been released. That video has since gone viral, with more than two million views on YouTube.
After the video went viral, Bucks County Congressman Mike Fitzpatrick asked federal authorities to determine if the alleged impostor should face charges, the Bucks County Courier Times reported.

The Stolen Valor Act of 2013 makes it a crime for someone to portray themselves as a recipient of military medals with the intent to obtain money, property or other benefits, according to the Bucks County Courier Times. However, there is no evidence the man received any benefit from wearing the uniform.
