Kayla Finn, a Welsh Valley 7th grader, is holding a charity yard sale to raise money for Room to Read, a globally
recognized charity that promotes literacy and girls' access to
education. There are two ways you can participate:
- Donate Your Unwanted Household Items: Used
books, clothes, electronics, china, pots/pans, linens, sports equipment,
toys, etc. The only thing we can't accept is furniture. Donations can
be dropped off any time in advance of the yard sale or on the morning
of the yard sale by 9:30am.
- Come Buy Something at the Yard Sale: All
proceeds from the yard sale will go to Room to Read. Unsold items will be donated to local charities. We will also be selling homemade baked goods.
