Those who regularly work as professional VO talent all present the following characteristics and abilities: great breath control; excellent control of non-regional speech patterns; interesting voices; excellent reading skills; facility in listening and taking direction; and convincing, effective interpretations of scripts/roles.
Taught by one of the top voiceover coaches in the area, this is a user-friendly course which will answer your questions about the VO industry and give you practical, honest help toward your goal of being a working voiceover artist. You will be introduced to the various styles of VO reads, recorded, coached and given invaluable targeted critiques that will guide you to better performances in those styles.
In this class you will also learn:
-Essentials of breathing
-How to find voiceover work
-How to approach a voiceover copy
-What is expected of you at a session and how do you prepare?
-How to listen and take direction
We look forward to working with you as you prepare for your goals.
