From outrageous wearable art made fromTyvek—a building supply material—to creations inspired by nature,
Friday’s Annual Fashion Show was the can’t-miss event of the season.
Color, texture, fit, and flow were all on display. Designs featured faux fur, transparent fabric, sheer, and barely there dresses, wraps, gowns, and coats.
President DeTemple said that he looks forward to this event every year. “The student creativity and diligence personified are what strike me the most.”

Linda Broome, Class of 2016, showcased her children’s collection featuring several children of employees as models. Oftentimes, the pint-sized models elicit oohs and applause, just for having made it down the runway and back.
“I love the children’s wear—the sassiness of the young models coming down the catwalk,” said Claudine Vita, Human Resources, who attends every year. “I am always amazed at the design collection. It is
unbelievable to see what they are able to develop and create.”
