Gov. Wolf Tours Bryn Mawr Hospital's Renovations
Wolf lauded the hospital for its commitment to not only patient care, but also comfort, as it works on its $200 million Patient Pavilion.

BRYN MAWR, PA – Gov. Tom Wolf made a visit to the area Thursday, Sept. 4. During his time on the Main Line, the governor got a tour of the newly-renovated space at Bryn Mawr Hospital, as well as the construction space for the upcoming Patient Pavilion.
The hospital recently wrapped up renovations in the Warden Lobby and is still undergoing a $200 million Patient Pavilion project that will modernize the hospital and help ensure patient comfort and convenience.
Wolf got a first hand look at the lobby, the pavilion project, and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

“The tour of Bryn Mawr Hospital was an excellent opportunity to see the hospital and health system’s commitment to patient care and comfort; two very important aspects of health care that might be overlooked if not prioritized,” Wolf said.

Ground broke on the 200,000 square-foot pavilion in May 20916. the Pavilion will feature all private patient rooms, two new medical-surgical telemetry units, a new intensive care unit, 12 all new operating rooms in a state-of-the-art surgical suite, and renovated maternity and delivery rooms.
The project is expected to be complete in 2018.

After the tour, Wolf met with Main Line Health System board members, as well as hospital administrators and staff, to discuss the system’s strategic plans and healthcare delivery transformation, including the proposed federal repeal and replacement of the Affordable Care Act, more commonly known as Obamacare.
