Watch the animals wake up as you race past them in the "I Ran the Zoo" 5K. The course loops through the Philadelphia Zoo, both inside and out. Walkers do a one mile loop. Hosted by the Kelly Anne Dolan Memorial Fund, proceeds from the race will benefit families caring for children with serious illnesses, injuries or disabilities.
Entry cost: $35 Early Bird before August 1; $40 until race day; $45 on race day. "I Ran the Zoo" t-shirts are guaranteed to all who register by Sept. 20. Registration includes entry to the Zoo on race day. Spectators can purchase wristband Zoo admittance for $15.
