Kids Eat Local: The Bakery House

We know how tough it can be to eat out with little ones. Patch wants to help you know before you walk in the door if The Bakery House is a good place to eat with your children.

Is there a kids’ menu? Not officially, but kids will love the cookies, cakes, cupcakes, brownies, muffins and pretty much everything else in the shop. The cookie monster cupcakes are particularly cute.

Are there healthy options on the kids’ meal? As a scratch bakery, Bakery House bakes everything fresh on a daily basis with no preservatives.

How does the restaurant deal with food allergies? Alert the staff and they will steer you towards items you may have. They have a mousse cake that's gluten-free. 

Is there a diaper changing station? No.

How difficult is it to maneuver a stroller through the dining area? It's not too difficult to maneuver a stroller, but it could be if the shop is crowded.

Is the restaurant so quiet that any childish outburst will draw attention or is there enough noise that a small cry is likely to go unnoticed? Small cries will go unnoticed.
