
There was a small fire in a single family home on 1700 Riverview Road in Gladwyne this morning, the Lower Merion Fire Department has confirmed. No one was injured.
According to township deputy fire marshal Jim McCoy, the department received a call alerting them to the fire shortly after 6 a.m. and cleared the fire by 8 a.m.
McCoy told Patch that the basement ceiling and kitchen floor of the home were damaged in the blaze, the cause of which is yet to be determined.

As of 2 p.m., the Fire Marshal's Office was still on scene conducting an investigation, the results of which are expected to be available this evening.
