Lower Merion Police Increasing Seat Belt Enforcement
Police will be enforcing seat belt laws in areas "where data indicate low seat belt use and high unbelted crash rates," the township said.

Lower Merion Township Police are participating in increased seat belt enforcement this month, the township said Monday.
The enforcement is part of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s Buckle Up PA” initiative.

The township did not say where the heavy enforcement areas were -- possibly to encourage all to buckle up, regardless of their travel plans.
