Manko, Gold, Katcher and Fox, LLP was honored to receive Lower Merion Township’s “Go for Green” Commercial Award for the use of sustainable design and construction in the fitout of their new office suite. Many of attorneys were on hand at the award ceremony on May 15 at Appleford Estates in Villanova, PA.
Coincidentally, three of the firm’s partners have children who were also winners that night. All the children are students of the 5th grade class at Friends’ Central and they received the Educational Award for their community garden. The happy father and child winners are: Rodd Bender and his daughter, Hallie; Michael Gross and his son, Elliott and John Gullace and his daughter, Anna. Their garden provided an outdoor educational experience, taught them the value of healthy nutrition sources, and enabled them to grow and eat their own food.
