New Bryn Mawr Store Selling Wares Made In 30 Countries
Ten Thousand Villages will offer ethically sourced goods that impact the life and community of their makers in 30 developing countries.

BRYN MAWR, PA — A new store coming to Bryn Mawr will be offering a place to purchase meaningful, ethically sourced goods that directly impact the life and community of their makers in developing countries.
On Saturday, May 18, Ten Thousand Villages will open its new store in Bryn Mawr Village, 925 W. Lancaster Ave Suite No .115. It will contain new, unique features including artisan videos and product collaborations with other fair trade brands.
The grand opening weekend will encompass giveaways, live music, henna hand art and fair trade sips and sweets courtesy of Women’s Bean Project.

“It’s so meaningful for us to officially open this new location and the Ten Thousand Villages team is honored and proud to be a part of the Bryn Mawr community,” said Llenay Ferretti, CEO of Ten Thousand Villages. “This new store is so unique because we do business as well as construction differently. Our designers are creating a store that puts people and planet first with artisan-made accents, sustainably sourced materials, and even repurposed fixtures curated from local markets.”
From culturally infused homewares like wall art, textiles, baskets and serveware to handcrafted jewelry and accessories, every handmade purchase generates sustainable income — and impact — for 20,000 makers in 30 countries.
