Police Activity: Lower Merion Service Calls Decrease Again

The police department reported 608 calls in the week ending Sunday.

 police again last week recorded their fewest incidents requiring service in months, according to a weekly report posted on the township's website.

Officers responded to 608 incidents, down from  the previous week and  for one week in mid-August. Patch began tracking the statistics seven weeks ago.

  • 4 burglaries
  • 4 cases of criminal mischief
  • 6 cases of disorderly conduct
  • 9 domestic disputes
  • 1 drug-possession case and 3 DUIs
  • 4 fires
  • 1 fraud
  • 6 car accidents with injuries
  • 34 car accidents with damage
  • 4 cases of
  • 2 robberies, 
  • 18 thefts
