Police Blotter: Two Arrested in Theft From Bryn Mawr Porch
The following information has been supplied by the Lower Merion Police Department. If arrests or charges are mentioned, they do not indicate guilt or a conviction.

On Monday afternoon, reported to news media the following incidents from the past week:
Theft: Kevin Guare, 19, and Wendell Charles Matthew, 41, both of the unit block of Rittenhouse Place in Ardmore, were arrested and charged with the theft of building materials about 7:30 a.m. Nov. 8 from a front porch on the unit block of Thomas Avenue in Bryn Mawr. When a neighbor alerted police, Guare and Matthew drove away and were soon arrested on Rittenhouse Place.
Public intoxication: A homeowner on Rosemont Avenue in Bryn Mawr called police after an unknown man entered his house during a party about 12:15 a.m. Nov. 12, police said. When Robert Manning, 21, of Abrahams Lane in St. Davids was asked what he was doing there, he said he didn't know, then he left and stood outside until police arrived, police said. He was charged with public intoxication after his blood-alcohol content tested at 0.28, police said.
