Police Calls Increase Week to Week in Lower Merion, Statistics Show
Check the township's list of calls for police response from Aug. 15 through Aug. 21.

Lower Merion Police Department responded to 772 calls for service last week, up from 715 , according to a report posted on the township's website.
A version of the spreadsheet sorted by type of incident is attached to this article. The police calls (which do not necessarily indicate arrests were made or charges filed) include:
- 2 bodies discovered ()
- 1 robbery
- 6 DUI incidents
- 5 burglaries
- 1 drug overdose
- 7 fires
- 2 credit card/ATM frauds
- 7 car accidents with injuries
- 32 car accidents with property damage
- 2 simple assaults
- 11 thefts
- 2 vehicle thefts
