This series of classes is designed for individuals with training and some success in the VO industry but who are not booking as often as they feel they should be.
Typically, the talent is experiencing less than perfect speech; difficulty in taking direction; lack-luster interpretations; or problems delivering good interpretations due to inadequate control of voice/speech functions.
Careful attention will be given to screening each class participant for performance flaws. For example, distracting "s" sounds, regional speech patterns, edgy nasal resonance, loud breathing, insufficient breath support and bad phrasing, or the dreaded popped "p" are all reasons why a talent could be dropped from consideration for a job.
Substantial time at the will be afforded to participants so that they can practice effective reads in all VO styles.
Additionally, this course will help talent who are transitioning from other performance types like stage acting, singing, or news/sports announcing.
