WAYNE ART CENTER AUDITIONS FOR STRING ORCHESTRA IN JUNE
WAYNE, PA (May 27, 2014) The Wayne Art Center will hold
auditions for its advanced String Orchestra for young adults ages 14 – 22 on
June 1st and throughout the month of June by appointment.
Under the direction of esteemed music educator, conductor
and Wayne resident Joyce S. Prichard, the group had its premier performance in
April and was acclaimed for its mature sound and overall professionalism. Parents of performers endorse it as a very
positive experience resulting from enthusiastic teaching and mentoring.

Through the vision of Executive Director, Nancy Campbell,
and Director of Special Projects, Karen Louise Fay, the incorporation of the String
Orchestra in the Wayne Art Center’s class offerings has added an important new
dimension to the Art Center’s wide range of opportunities.
