Local commentators and officials are debating why the issue surfaced now, weighing public health benefits against bodily autonomy and distrust in medical and governmental guidance. Future council action could still revisit the decision.

ā¢ Next week will be the decision by the Franklin County Commissioners about updating the SALDO for data centers (tristatealert.com) ā Franklin County Commissioners will hold a key vote in Chambersburg next Wednesday to tighten SALDO rules on where and how data centers can be built, especially in townships without zoning.
