2 Sought In East Chelten Avenue Strong Arm Robbery

The two men followed the victim into a restaurant on East Chelten Avenue then pulled a gun on him. They stole his wallet, phone, and cash.

PHILADELPHIA – Police are seeking two men involved in a strong arm robbery that occurred on Chelten Avenue on Nov. 11. Authorities released footage of the suspects in hopes of the public identifying them.

According to police, at about 8:45 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 11, a 38-year-old man was walking into the Kingston City Restaurant, 732 East Chelten Ave.

Two unknown black males followed him inside, police said.

Once inside, one suspect pulled a handgun demanding the victim "get down" while the other suspect went through his pockets, taking the victim's cell phone, wallet, and $280.

The two suspects then fled in an unknown direction, police said.

No one was injured in the crime, police said.

The first suspect is described as a black male in his late 20s or early 30s with a dark complexion, medium build, and facial hair. He is about 5 feet 10 inches tall and was wearing a dark jacket, hooded sweatshirt, and was armed with a handgun.

The second is described also as a black male in his late 20s or early 30s with a dark complexion, a medium build, and was about 5 feet 6 inches tall.
