Human Skeletal Remains Found By Creek In Northwest Philly

The person was an adult, but police couldn't identify their race or gender due to the condition of their remains.

CHESTNUT HILL, PA — Human skeletal remains were found Monday near the Wissahickon Creek in Philadelphia's Chestnut Hill neighborhood, police said.

The remains were discovered around 6:40 p.m. near the intersection with Germantown Avenue.

The person was an adult. But police could not determine their race or gender because of the condition of the remains.
