$30K Of Electronics Stolen From Germantown Friends School

Two men stole 16 Mac Mini-computers, two 60-inch flat panel TV's, desktop computers, and an I-Pad​ from the school, Philly Police said.

PHILADELPHIA — About $30,000 worth of electronics were stolen from a Philadelphia school in early August, Philadelphia Police said.

According to police, sometime between 11:11 p.m. Monday, Aug. 5 and 10:25 p.m. Friday, Aug. 9, two men stole numerous electronics from Germantown Friends Select School at 31 W. Coulter St.

The men were captured on video surveillance gaining access to the school.

After getting in the school, they took various electronic devices including 16 Mac Mini-computers, two 60-inch flat panel TV’s, desktop computers, and an I-Pad, police said.

The estimated value is $30,000.

They got to the school on foot through the cemetery and left on foot on Germantown Avenue.

One suspect is described as a black male with dark complexion who was in his mid to late teens. He was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, dark shorts, red sneakers and carrying a dark "Champion" brand backpack.

The other suspect was described as a black male with a medium complexion in his mid to late teens. He was wearing a light gray hooded jacket and dark pants.

On Aug. 9, 2019 one of the suspects had a multi-colored hooded jacket, gray pants, white socks and dark sports slides.
