Big Blue Marble Bookstore welcomes author and activist Nicole Caldwell is the CEO and co-founder of Better Farm, a 65-acre sustainability campus, organic farm and artists’ colony which serves as a blueprint for environmentally conscious living. Her first book, “Better: The Everyday Art of Sustainable Living,” is chock-full of environmental theory, DIY projects from square-foot gardens to building your own aquaponics array, her personal story of transitioning from New York City to the country, the history of Better Farm, and some inspirational material for seizing creative opportunities while living more sustainably.
