Run for Africa (RFA) is a 5k run/walk - to be held on Saturday June 30, 2012 at the National Christian Conference Center on Rt. 23 (Valley Forge Road) - near the scenic Valley Forge National Park. Registration starts at 8am; run 9am; walk:9:15am.
RFA is a health & fitness, fundraiser and awareness campaign to support K-12 education and eradicate poverty in Africa and the Philadelphia region.
This year's event benefits the Liberian Education Initiative: African School of the Future (LEI) and Compassion Capital Investment Fund (CCI). The CCI fund is a community development financial intermediary focused on eradicating poverty through entrepreneurial self-reliance.
