AUDITIONS FOR 4000 MILES, THE DRAMATIC COMEDY BY AMY HERZOG!

Auditions for 4000 MILES, directed by Charlotte Higgins, will be held Saturday, July 11, 2015 @ 2 pm at Old Academy Players, 3544 Indian Queen Lane, Philadelphia (East Falls), PA 19129. Auditions will be cold readings from the script.

Synopsis: After suffering a major loss while cycling cross-country, Leo ends his journey at his grandmother’s Greenwich Village apartment. The dramatic comedy examines complicated family relationships and how people deal with loss.

Seeking to cast:
• 1 female able to play 91-year-old grandmother, feisty, independent.
• 1 male (early 20’s) outwardly easygoing, sensitive, strong, lean, long-distance cyclist.
• 1 female (early 20’s), college student, athletic, serious, mature.
• 1 female (late teens, early 20’s), Chinese-American, outgoing, trendy, slightly off-beat.

The show runs November 6 - 22. Rehearsals will be held 2-3 evenings a week beginning in early August.
